Joining a CSA is an easy and sustainable way to get weekly vegetables from a local farm. Our program has grown to almost 50 members and has sold out for 3 consecutive years in a row. When you join our CSA, you connect with a community and connect your family with fresh food.

FAQs

  • Our CSA sign ups will remain open until they sell out, or until April 1st, 2021. Space is limited and we do anticipate the CSA to sell out again for 2021.

  • CSAs are picked up on either Wednesdays or Thursdays from 3-7 pm at Sunset Farm in Naugatuck. If you are unable to pick up your share, you may send someone in your place or skip your share for that week. We do not make up produce for vacations or missed pick ups.

  • We do not spray any pesticides or use synthetic fertilizers. We are committed to transparency about our growing practices. This is a more labor intensive and challenging way to farm, but we strongly believe in it.

  • We, the farmers, choose the items in the shares each week. We grow a variety of vegetables including tomatoes, peppers, squash, eggplant, carrots, beets, radishes, lettuce, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, etc that you will receive in your share when they are in season. We do not grow corn.

  • Payment plans are available. Please reach out to us about the details of a payment plan or if you would like to use EBT to purchase a CSA.
